::: Joel L. Horowitz Honorary Doctorate Lecture

This is the podcast of the Joel L. Horowitz Honorary Doctorate Lecture , held at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin on Tuesday, 10. June 2014.

The nomination of Joel L. Horowitz for an Honorary Doctorate is motivated by the excellent quality of his publications and the interdisciplinary nature of his scientific philosophy and research. He is one of the very best scientists in his field, both in his home country and internationally. This is evident through his first-rate list of publications which have appeared in high-ranking internationally recognised journals. The candidate’s research is known internationally, and it is equally relevant in its theory and in its practice. The candidate’s dual disciplines as a physicist and an econometrician make him a highly qualified scientist with a very broad spectrum of skills. He is highly regarded simultaneously, as an econometrician, statistician, mathematician, and business economist.

Second Part Joel L. Horowitz Honorary Doctorate Lecture (Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Härdle)

Third Part Joel L. Horowitz Honorary Doctorate Lecture (Prof. Joel L. Horowitz, Ph.D.)
